" ...We indeed LOVED
Captiva Cutie...delightfully decorated, gracious, well-equipped,
comfortable...everything we want in a vacation home. It
was great having the pool in the early morning, after
the "long" walk
back from the beach, and for relaxing late at night. We
all managed to find time during the day to "check
in" on the laptop, so we didn't feel TOO guilty
about being away. The house is spacious
enough for 5 adults to never be in each other's way,
yet has such a homey, cozy feeling about it.
One
night we hosted a 'family reunion' dinner for relatives
staying in the area - 6 of us dined in the kitchen, and
the 6 younger adults ate on the lanai...all perfectly
comfortable....Thanks again for sharing your special

"...Our hats are off to you for the outstanding job
you did in renovating and updating Captiva Cutie. Staying
at Cutie was heaven. We were amazed at the amount of privacy
we had both inside the house and out around the pool. Mark
and I would usually turn in before the kids at night, yet
we could not hear them talking or any noise from their
TV. Our stay was very comfortable and extremely relaxing.
Having our own private pool was icing on the cake. During
this visit we spent most of our days at the pool and saved
the beach for early morning walks and evening sunsets.
We visited our favorite restaurants ; RC Otter, Mucky Duck,
Cheeburger Cheeburger, and had take out desserts from The
Bubble Room. We enjoyed shopping at the Confused Chameleon
and the Island Beach Shop. One evening we grilled on the
BBQ at Captiva Cutie. For future reference to you or your
guests, Bailey's Market on Sanibel has wonderful steaks
and fresh shrimp. The quality and reasonable prices were a pleasant surprise.
Also, Bailey's bakery has fresh croissants that melt in your mouth. We were
very lucky to have such nice weather, since areas like Ft Myers and Tampa were
getting hit with so much rain. However even an occasional cloudburst on Captiva
is better than the sunniest day in St Louis. All in all, we would rate this
as one of our best vacations and we owe it all to your dedication to making
your guests comfort your #1 priority. We wanted for nothing, other than more

The weather was beautiful, with the exception of one fairly
cool and overcast day. Compared to the rest of the country,
we were very fortunate. We all loved what you've done with
the decorating. The colors and accents complement the surroundings.
Before we got there I had some concerns that because it is in the village it
might be too active. However, because of the vegetation, it seemed like we
were in the middle of the rain forest despite that we were a few minutes walk

of shells, my sister and her family visited one day, and one of Steve's brothers
and family visited another day. And.....we had
perfect weather!!! We would love to vacation there again next year. I just
have to find out the dates for school break. I would think
